NOLA "Life In The Arts" Scholarship
Overview:
This Scholarship Is For A High School Senior In New Orleans Who Demonstrates Excellency In The Field Of One Of The Following Categories: Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Music, Dance, And/Or Theater.
Eligibility:
Student Must Be A Senior, Have A GPA Of 3.0 Or Better, & Pursuing A Degree In Fine And/Or Performing Arts.
Requirements:
Students Must Download The Application & Fill In The Information (Click On The Link In Red) A Copy Can Be Emailed, But One With The Original Signature Must Be Mailed To P.O. Box 7225, Round Rock, Texas, 78683.
Students Must Then Email An Essay Of 500 Words Or More On What Type Of Art Field He Or She Is In, How Have The Arts Affected His Or Her Life, & What Are His Or Her Future Plans On Using Art In Their Lives To nola@urbantheatrefest@gmail.com
Selection Process:
The Selected Board/Judges Will Review & Score The Essay. Based On The Highest Score Received A Winner Will Be Selected.
Award:
The Student Selected Will Be Awarded A Scholarship In The Amount Of $1000. The Money Will Go Towards The School Of The Student’s Choice To Pay For “Educational Expenses”, Such As Supplies And/Or Other Items Related To The Arts Program.
