This is A Competition In Which Individuals Pitch Their Best Monologue or Spoken Word Piece Based Upon The Theme "Vision"
Below Are The Following Guidelines:
*Monologue or Spoken Word Material Must Be Original
*Must Be At Least 2 Minutes & No Longer Than 5 Minutes
*Must Send In A Video Submission Prior To Competition To nolaurbantheatrefest@gmail.com
*Video, Monologue or Spoken Word Material, & Performance Must Be Free Of Derogatory Messages & Profanity
*Content Must Be Clean & Family Friendly
*Only 10-20 People Will Be Accepted To Participate In The Festival's Competition
*All Video Submissions Must Be Accompanied By A Completed Submission Form (See Below)
*Submission Must Not Include Material That You Don't Have Permission To Use
*Material Must Not Have Been Previously Or Currently Published As A Part Of An Exclusive Arrangement With Someone Else
*Submission & Performace Must Be In English
*No More Than 2 Submissions Per Person (Please Note: You Must Pay $10 For Each Video Submitted. Only One Monologue or Spoken Word Piece Can Be On One Video)
*Those Selected To Participate Must Pay The Entrance Fee Of $20 Into The Networking Mixer

*Winner Will Receive A Coveted Event Title, Up To $300 In Cash, Prizes & Awards, Plus A Chance To Perform Their Material During Intermission At 2 Stage Plays
*Contestants Will Perform His Or Her Piece During The Festival's Networking Mixer On, Thursday, June 12, 2014. Attendees Will Cast Their Votes & The Winner Will Be Selected That Night.
