NOLA Urban Theatre Festival's Mission Is To Provide A Platform That Highlights The Diversity, Creativity, And Uniqueness Amongst Black Theater And The Urban Culture. Our Commitment Is To The Development Of Urban Art In The Theatre Community By Supporting Playwrights & Artists Who Are Passionate About What They Do And Who Have A Vision That They Want To Grow, Nurture, And Share With Many Who Sees Art As More Than An Image. It's Where The Love Of Urban Art Comes Together Under One Roof.
The NOLA Urban Theatre Festival Will Consist of Full Length Plays That Will Be Brought To Life By Playwrights, Actors, Directors, & Producers From Nationwide. There Will Be Workshops, Vendor Displays, A Networking Mixer, Monologue/Spoken Word Competition, & So Much More. Patrons From All Over The Great City Of New Orleans And Beyond Will Be Treated To Outstanding Theatrical Productions That Will Fill The Minds And Souls Of Those Who Come Out To Witness And Become A Part Of Such An Historical Event. One Of The Great Things About New Orleans Is That It Is A City Filled With The Love Of Culture, Arts, And Community. Playwrights As Well As Other Artists & Audience Members Will Be Intrigued By What's To Come.
